Bombyhead · Ad Maker
Make a pageant program ad in a minute.
Your contestant is up on stage this weekend and the program book needs an ad. You don’t need a designer, a design app, or even an account. Pick a design, drop in your own photos, match the gown color, edit the words, and download a print-ready page to send to the director.

How to make a pageant program ad
- Pick a design. Choose a template for one photo or several — portraits, spotlights, and full pages. The layout is already done for you.
- Add your photos. Upload from your phone or computer, then drag to recenter. Each photo fills its frame automatically.
- Match the gown color. Tap the color closest to your contestant’s dress and the whole ad shifts into that family.
- Edit the words and download. Change the name and message, then download a high-resolution page — or save it to your Bombyhead photo library.
Why it looks professional
Every design is built from a real template, so the type, spacing, and color stay balanced no matter which photos you drop in. You can’t make it look crowded or crooked — the page comes out looking like a designer laid it out, because the layout was designed for you. And it exports at full print resolution, so it stays crisp in a printed program book instead of turning blurry.
Common questions
- What is a pageant program ad?
- A program ad — also called a program-book ad or a shout-out page — is a page that families and sponsors buy in a pageant’s printed program to congratulate a contestant. It usually has a photo or two, the contestant’s name, and a short message.
- How do I make a pageant program ad?
- Use the Ad Maker at the top of this page: pick a template, add your photos, choose a color to match the gown, edit the words, and download the finished page. It takes about a minute and needs no design experience.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can build and download an ad without logging in. If you already have a Bombyhead account, you can also save the ad to your photo library and reuse photos you’ve uploaded.
- How much does it cost?
- The Ad Maker is free. You only pay your director for the ad space in their program book, if they sell it.
- Can I use my own photos?
- Yes — that’s the whole idea. Upload your own photos from your phone or computer. Nothing is watermarked except a small “Made with Bombyhead” credit line at the bottom of the page.
- What size is the finished ad?
- Each ad is a full portrait page (8.5 × 11 proportions) and downloads as a high-resolution JPG that prints cleanly at full-page size.
